DR CHANCE GLENN

Dr. Glenn is the founder of the Morningbird Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors.  He is also a tenured full professor of Electrical Engineering and the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Houston-Victoria.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master’s and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Management Development Certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Glenn has decades of experience in engineering, technology, entrepreneurship, and higher education. He has published extensively, holds patents, and traveled globally to speak on issues of science, innovation, and technology.

From chaos theory to material science in additive manufacturing, to general relativity, Dr. Glenn’s applied research activity has spanned the years.  His current  work in experimental spacetime distortion (ESD) is where he seeks to be the first to show verifiable and repeatable evidence of experimental distortion of spacetime in the laboratory based on utilization of radio frequency in a complex dielectric chamber.  

Dr. Glenn believes that the benefits and blessings of space exploration and the growing space economy should be made to benefit all humankind.  Only through this philosophy can the industry grow the right way. He is also a champion for the creation of opportunities for all people in the STEM fields. He works with companies, agencies, and organizations to help them maximize their potential in meeting goals for diversity and inclusion.
