501(C)(3) STATUS OF GAAAYS IN SPAAACE

After careful consideration, we have decided to transition from our nonprofit status to a more flexible structure that allows us to focus our time, energy, and resources where they belong—on our community and our mission.

In the current environment, maintaining nonprofit status has become increasingly complicated and time-consuming. The extensive registration, reporting, and annual filing requirements, and the amount of paperwork, expense, and administrative work required to remain compliant has reached a point where the difficulties simply far outweigh the benefits for our organization.

Ultimately, this decision is about allowing us to spend less time dealing with government paperwork and more time doing the work that actually matters.

Most importantly, this changes absolutely nothing about who we are or what we do.

Our first priority is, and has always been, the benefit of our community—not a tax designation—and that will continue to be our priority.

We will continue to produce the same unique, high-quality events that everyone has come to expect from Gaaaysinspaaace.

The paperwork may change, but our mission and our commitment to the community never will.
