CONFIRMATION OF 501(C)(3) STATUS OF GAAAYS IN SPAAACE

GAAAYS IN SPAAACE (GIS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusion in both science fiction storytelling as well as in the actual space industry.

GIS maintains an active 501 (c)(3) non-profit status and works with a certified accountant to maintain on time IRS filings.

As GAAAYS IN SPAAACE continues to grow as an organization, we've implemented internal quality control procedures to enhance our accountability and transparency of business operations. In 2024, we brought on board a new Treasurer with experience in financial management and we are working closely with our accounting firm on our IRS filing requirements.
