JOSHUA BROWN - PROJECT MANAGER
Joshua Brown (he/him) has worked as an attorney specializing in labor and employment law for fourteen years. He also previously clerked in the Office of the California Attorney General, in the Health, Education, & Welfare Division. Before becoming an attorney, as a corps member of Teach for America, Joshua taught third and fourth grade in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.
His previous nonprofit work includes fellowships with the Campaign for Youth Justice and the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, twelve years as a volunteer for the Community Club of Washington, D.C., and three years as a volunteer for the Cambridge School Volunteers in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union.
Joshua attended the Gaaays in Spaaace inaugural Galactic Diversity & Inclusion Convention in Philadelphia, and he looks forward to supporting the organization through its continued growth into new arenas.
